I was first introduced to the art of felt making over five years ago after being taught at The Midlands Arts Centre in Birmingham. Since discovering the fascinating process that turns slivers of merino wool into hard wearing felt, I have experimented with its properties to make my own individual designs.

My designs are both colourful and individual. I use the technique of Nuno felting to create my wraps which can be worn both on summer afternoons and evenings out, they are lightweight wool and chiffon. My wall hangings are textural pieces that are inspired by patterns in nature and are made using the dry felting method. My felt bags can be made to order and I undertake commissions for my wall art.

Felting is an ancient craft that grows more popular everyday. What I hope makes my work interesting and different is my love of colour and my contemporary designs. I hope you enjoy them.
